About the Project

Scope of Works
The project involved several key elements. First, the team designed and erected a full access scaffold to meet the specific requirements of the water treatment facility. Second, they installed working platforms and edge protection around all areas requiring maintenance.
In addition, the team built loading bays and materials handling areas to support the maintenance programme. Moreover, they designed the scaffold to avoid interference with the operational plant and processes. The erection and dismantle works were carefully phased around the treatment centre’s operational schedule. Finally, the team adapted the scaffold as the maintenance programme progressed through different areas of the facility.
Health and Safety
Working on a live, critical infrastructure site required an exemplary approach to health and safety. The team prepared full RAMS, which were submitted and approved before any works began. All operatives held current CISRS scaffolding cards and industrial site qualifications.
Moreover, every operative completed a site-specific induction before starting work. The team observed strict permit-to-work procedures throughout in line with site requirements. The scaffold was inspected and documented weekly and after adverse weather events. Consequently, zero incidents were recorded throughout the entire project duration.
