About the Project

Poole Hospital is one of the busiest NHS facilities in Dorset. The maintenance programme required safe access to high level flat roofs for essential repair works. Because the hospital operates around the clock, the scaffold design had to avoid disrupting day-to-day operations.

As a result, the independent tower design allowed works to proceed without affecting the hospital’s critical services. Furthermore, the team erected all scaffolding in accordance with strict health and safety requirements for hospital environments.

Scope of Works

The project involved several key elements. First, the team erected an independent scaffold access tower to provide safe access to the high level flat roofs. Second, they installed a hoist run off to enable efficient materials handling at height.
